What a great idea for a beautiful looking game! I really liked the text box border and the little gingerbread man in place of the arrow icon! The instructions were good and the game play was simple, but still challenging. It took me a few precious seconds to figure out how to actually do the pancakes, but that was because I didn't notice where the dough was at first. I liked the mechanics and I will definitely experiment with a few of these things. Great job!

What an adorable game this was! I used to love time management games, but I haven't played one in an age--it was a delight to revisit one! I loved watching the booth get more elaborate with each passing shift. The middle shift kicked my butt several times! But putting on Dash solved it instantly. The difficulty curve was very good, it got more complex and faster but it never felt chaotic. The story was simple and sweet. I really, really enjoyed this game!

My wishlist for a future build, if you do one, would be a running counter for how much you've earned so far and possibly a timer for the shift, so you know how you're doing in relation to your goal.

Congratulations on a very well-earned second place in the jam, Slim! This is fantastic!

I'm not going to lie, I absolutely love and adore this game! Mapping, writing, gameplay, premise, art, theme, and polish, everything is on point. So much fun to be had in this game. I really love how you approached this one and steered away from typical RPGMaker gameplay and went with something different but somehow familiar. Towards the end, it gets a little more difficult but since the player isn't just dropped in it but rather is gradually introduced to things, it really works well. My only criticism, and this would be nit-picking, is not really knowing how my profit/money is being calculated and where I am currently with money before the shift ends. Absolutely phenomenal job!

I loved this game so much. The graphics were beautiful, the Christmas spirit was in the air.

Omg, the gameplay was so much fun AND so clever too, especially with the way it was made in RPG Maker engine. Amazing! I liked how it got busier and busier each shift. I am glad I did not see a timer as it no doubt would have added to my stress trying to make all the customers happy.

The only down side is the gameplay would get a bit buggy or slow down here and there. Overall, what a great job. Bravo!

Notes: I couldn't get past the tutorial because it bugged. At one point, the middle customer stopped just short of walking up to the counter, and I couldn't serve them, which prevented the shift from ending. Sometimes the balloon bubble would disappear as well, but thankfully re-appeared if I clicked the customer again.

One improvement I can see is also adding an empty cup when you pick it up, prior to filling it with a drink. And did the pancake plates do anything? I never ended up using those.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D There is a timer running, it's just hidden ;)

Oh, so sorry to hear about the tutorial bugging out! Do you happen to remember what you did? I just played through it and it worked fine on my end. And yeah, there's an issue where if you click on the cash register while one of the customers is leaving, it bugs out the next one.

I definitely like the idea of adding the empty cup to the HUD when you pick it up. Oh wow, did no one ask for pancakes? There's a small QTE that pop ups if you click on it (assuming you have the necessary dough).
